Vašek makes his living as a clown, compère, and actor. He currently works as an actor in the Polárka Theatre (theatre for children and young adults) and Theatre Druhý Pád. He describes himself as follows:

        I say what I mean.

The productions Káťa a Bajaja [Cathy and Bajaja], Zlatý kolovrat [The Golden Spinning Wheel] and Antigona [Antigone] were created as projects of Theatre Faculty of JAMU in Brno and are co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic as part of the Éta program.
