Lukáš Rieger

actor, pedagogue

Graduate of drama acting, which he studied under the lead of Prof. Josef Karlík, and doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Pavel Švanda. Since 2003, he has been working as an acting pedagogue – gradually in the studios of Oxana Smilková, Eva Jelínková, Sylva Talpová, and Ivo Krobot. Since 2014, he leads his own Studio of drama acting at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU.

Besides acting in various theatres in Brno, he belongs to the long-term members of the theatre Buranteatr.

Married. Catholic. Maker of fruit wines.

The theatre is financially supported by the statutory city of Brno. The productions Káťa a Bajaja [Cathy and Bajaja], Zlatý kolovrat [The Golden Spinning Wheel] and Antigona [Antigone] were created as projects of Theatre Faculty of JAMU in Brno and are co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic as part of the Éta program.
